In recent years, the Building and Related Trades sector in Cameroon has witnessed unprecedented growth, positioning it as the most dynamic sector in the national economy in terms of investment volume. This is a sector in which technological innovations in construction materials, technical and energy-related equipment, automation, etc., have been developing, thereby reducing costs and project completion times.
Recognizing this trend, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Crafts of Cameroon (CCIMA) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax – Tunisia (CCIS) signed a partnership agreement to jointly organize the African Building and Related Trades Exhibition, AFRIBAT Cameroon 2018, in April 2018.
AFRIBAT Cameroon 2018 was held from May 8th to 12th, 2018, at the Tsinga Exhibition Park in Yaoundé under the High Patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Head of Government, and under the sponsorship of the Permanent Conference of African and Francophone Consular Chambers (CPCCAF).
AFRIBAT Cameroon 2018 is a specialized biennial exhibition and a platform for international meetings and boosting exchanges and cooperation between professionals, experts, and entrepreneurs in the Building and Related Trades sector. Participants showcased their innovative products and services, exchanged experiences and expertise, and forged important partnerships and/or commercial contracts.”
